Senior React Engineer

We're looking for a senior engineer to own the front end of our model deployment console — the surface where our customers configure, monitor, and roll back production inference workloads. This is a product-facing role on a small team. You'll work directly with design and with the engineers building our inference runtime, and you'll have real say in what we build. Our console is a Next.js app with a heavy real-time component: streaming logs, live metrics, and deployment state that changes under the user's feet. Getting that to feel calm rather than chaotic is the core design problem of the role.

• Own the architecture of our deployment console end to end, from data fetching through to rendering
• Build real-time interfaces over streaming log and metric data without melting the browser
• Partner with design to turn dense operational data into something an on-call engineer can read at 3am
• Set front-end standards — testing, performance budgets, accessibility — and hold the team to them
• Mentor two mid-level engineers through code review and pairing

• 5+ years building production React applications, with at least 2 in a senior or lead capacity
• Deep TypeScript — you reach for the type system to prevent bugs, not to satisfy a linter
• Experience with real-time data patterns: WebSockets, SSE, or long-polling at scale
• Demonstrable care about performance: you've profiled a slow app and made it fast
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and defining your own scope
